Bardhere-MMC: Reports from Baardhere city of Gedo region confirms that the top military officials in that city now started to move out of the city after the Somali national army forces emerged the city and its close by residents.
Adan Ahmed Rufle , who is one of the Somali military officials in that region who spoke to Mustaqbal radio said that now the top leaders of Al-shabab in the region are now fleeing and heading to the remote areas.
‘They now started to flee as usuall , and our forces are now heading to the city of Bardhere to restore peace and law in the city’ said Mr. Rufle
Still there are no comments from Al-shabab regarding their withdrawal from Baardhere and the causes.
